Over forty identified industrial sites in the United States combine to spend $5B on Hydrochloric acid annually and in the process generate almost 5B gallons of waste in the form of an acid by-product called Ferrous Chloride. Along with having to re-purchase the spent acid, they can spend another $1-$4B in disposal costs. not including the oversight expenses and the environmental impact of this hazardous material. The Ferrous Chloride is disposed of in one of four processes, 1) deep well injection, 2) Spray roasting, 3) Neutralization and 4) sale to municipalities at valued as low as $0.02/gallon, for sewage treatment.
We’re working on a process to turn material that steel companies and titanium dioxide pigment manufacturers are paying billions to get rid of, into one of the most valuable recycling processes around. Not only will we return 98% of the HCL back to re-use or if Chlorine is used in the pigment process, Chlorine gas and Hydrogen, we’ll have 2 other byproducts that will revolutionize the magnet market. Our onsite Rechargers will revolutionize the recycling of this hazardous material, plus eliminate shipping hazardous materials to other sites with the potential for spills.
In addition, we are looking to work with Ilmenite processors in Australia so they can consider a process that will allow them to ship Titanium Dioxide and Magnetic materials rather that shipping ilmenite and Rutile ores. This process would reduce the total cost of processing the ilmenite and through a closed loop system recover either HCl acid or Chlorine gas and Hydrogen.
All this, plus a business model that helps Service Disabled Veterans and disadvantaged people get back on their feet.
